Elijah entered the world scene when nothing seemed to be happening. Idolatry and personal opinion were rampant. There was discord and disharmony within the nation. Everyone had their own opinion. Everyone saw it his or her own way. The lines between right and wrong had become blurred. What was once black and white, had now become a murky gray. What was objective in nature, had become subjective in the sight of all. In the midst of this, God sent an anointing and an anointed vessel to bring His blessing to His people.

 

Jesus said, “It is finished. It is paid in full!”
The deal is done.
The devil is dusted.
Hell is defeated.
Man is redeemed.
The blessings are procured.
Salvation is available.
Healing belongs to you.
Prosperity is the order of the day.

I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. ~ Matthew 16:18b

It is finished.
It is a done deal.
Feast, not Famine

God anointed Elijah to come and to literally bring a famine just to get man’s attention. There was a day when you were no longer satisfied with the status quo. What had filled you, suddenly lacked substance. What you were accustomed to, no longer fed you. It did not satisfy. It did not fulfill. It felt like famine. Today, God does not have a famine in store for you. He has a feast in store for you! He has the victory beyond the battle. He has a feast beyond the famine. He has abundance beyond the hunger. He has strength beyond the weakness. He has vindication, promotion and blessing…for your life and home. There is not one person who is reading this that is a bad person. In fact, from the perspective of Heaven, there are only two types of people in the Earth. There are those that God has already got a hold of and then there are those that God wants to get a hold of. It doesn’t matterwhere you are right now. It doesn’t matter what you did yesterday. When God gets a hold of you, He will change your life forever. He will not stop with the famine. He will send the rain. He will send the food. He will release His abundance into your life. He is sending revival, but He will not stop with revival. He is sending restoration. He is going to bless your home. He is going to bless your life. He is going to anoint you. He is going to equip you. He is going to empower you. He is going to inject you. He is going to send you. He is going to use you. There is not one bad person. There is not a person that can’t measure up to the expectation of God. Elijah was a man subject to like passions, yet he prayed earnestly.

Study this key: Elijah took time aside. He went away by himself. He left the standard and the status quo. He moved away from the multitudes and spent time with God. This is not a call to become a hermit and to dwell in the desert. This is a prophetic call to a chosen generation to set aside time for prayer, worship, gathering and connection in God. As you do this, you will hear from Heaven. The sound that you will hear will move you and change you. The force of it will echo throughout the very fiber of your being. It will bring you into synch with God’s declaration over your life.
